Send us your pearls from wherever you are. We restring them in our Raleigh workshop and send them back ready to wear.

Tell us about your pearls
Fill in the request below. We'll reply by email to confirm the price and how to ship.

Pack them safely
Wrap the pearls in a soft cloth and place them in a small box, not a padded envelope. Add a note with your name and email.

Ship them to us
Send them insured and with tracking to Godfrey's Jewelers, 7455 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615.

We restring and return them
We email you when your pearls arrive, and again when they're on their way back to you.

No payment now. We'll confirm the price with you before any work begins.
About restringing
How do I know my pearls need restringing?
Look for gaps between the pearls or the knots, thread that looks stretched, frayed or darkened, or a strand that hangs longer than it used to. Pearls worn often generally benefit from restringing every few years.
Why knot between every pearl?
Each knot keeps neighboring pearls from rubbing against each other. And if a strand ever breaks, you lose at most one pearl instead of the whole strand.

Can I bring my pearls in instead?
Of course. Visit us Tuesday to Friday, 10 am to 5 pm, at Celebration Shopping Center, 7455 Six Forks Rd in North Raleigh.
